Are you an Energetic and committed Early Years Teacher? Our Outstanding Early Years team are looking for a dedicated Nursery teacher to take on a maternity cover within their large Primary school in Kirkby. The role will commence from February 2021 but you may be required to go in to do a handover earlier. The role is full time until December 2021 or could be extended depending upon the return of the post-holder.
We are looking for excellence across all areas within Early Years. It is therefore essential that applicants have a clear understanding of the National Curriculum within Foundation stage 1.
Applicants should have:
* Recent experience of teaching within a busy Nursery
* Current knowledge of the EYFS curriculum, with direct experience of working with pupils within this age range within the last year
* Knowledge of child development and relevant attainment levels
* A passion for teaching and commitment to nurturing the children in your care
* Ability to support children's learning and development in a creative and flexible way

The successful candidate requires the following qualities:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification that allows you to teach in schools
* Experience of working in a Reception class
* Good communication skills
* Be committed to working in a team
* Possess the motivation to achieve and add value to the school
* Support pupils with different ability levels, including SEN
